TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
The joint is made up of two symmetrical halves that separate when a certain tensile force is applied. Once the separation occurs, the valves close, preventing product from leaking from either the hose or the tank. In the event of accidental traction or excess pressure, the screws break, keeping the BreakAway parts connected at their respective ends, thus preventing product leakage. This safety is guaranteed by the simultaneous closure of the inlets of both the tank and the hose or loading arm.
