OPERATION OF THE TODO DRY-BREAK SYSTEM
TODO Dry-Break couplings are designed to ensure a quick and safe connection in fluid transfer operations. The operating principle is based on a controlled-rotation coupling:

  • With an initial rotation of about 15°, the two halves of the coupling mechanically engage, keeping both valves closed.
  • Only with a subsequent rotation do the valves open simultaneously, allowing fluid to pass without leakage.
  • To disconnect the joint, the operator repeats the same procedure in reverse: the valves automatically close before separation, preventing any leakage. Thanks to its optimized design with a reduced number of moving components, the TODO Dry-Break system ensures high reliability, reduced maintenance, and smooth, safe operation even under harsh operating conditions.
