The corrugated stainless steel flexible hose ranges from 6 mm (1/4 ') to 300 mm (12'). The corrugated annular body provides flexibility and high-pressure sealing for the hose. They are constructed from parallel corrugations obtained hydraulically from butt-welded hose.
Above a certain pressure level, unbraided corrugated hoses tend to stretch; To limit this problem, a corrugated hose is composed of:

MAIN APPLICATIONS
Parallel spiral flexible hoses allow for static installation or cyclical movements and are used to convey a wide range of fluids within wide temperature ranges.
Because they are perfectly sealed, they are used in the chemical, petrochemical, cryogenic, nuclear, thermal, natural gas, pharmaceutical, steelworks industries, and many other sectors.
Thanks to their high reliability, durability, resistance to static/pulsating pressure, lack of permeability, and excellent vibration absorption, they are widely used in sectors such as the automotive, aerospace, chemical-pharmaceutical industries, and many other industrial applications.
MOVEMENT MODES
Static installations
Where the flexible hose is used to connect misaligned pipes and remains in a static position
▪ Bending Occasional
Where occasional flexing is required, such as in manually operated equipment.
▪ Constant Flexing
When the hose is required to flex continuously, usually for moving machinery.
▪ Vibrations
High frequency and low-amplitude movements, for example, a compressor.
HIGH TECHNOLOGY & QUALITY
Quality assurance is of vital importance to ERREDI. Every stage of production is constantly monitored by qualified personnel. ERREDI has in-house testing facilities for various types of tests, particularly those meeting international standards for flexible metal hoses. Regularly conducted tests include: Flexibility fatigue test or cycling test, lifespan test, burst pressure test or performance test, bend radius test, flame test. Each individual hose assembly is hydraulically tested at 1.5 times the working pressure before shipping. Pneumatic testing is performed whenever necessary. All raw materials used for hose production and final connections (fittings) are subject to strict controls to ensure high quality standards. ERREDI is therefore able to guarantee absolute consistency in the overall quality of its products.
*ERRE.DI. improves the quality of its products by operating in compliance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, having obtained type certification from CEC Notified Body No. 1131.
The stainless steel hoses are marked II 2/2 GD c IIB, making them suitable for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres and complying with Directive 2014/34/EU.
TECHNICAL DATA
The types of flexible metal hoses marketed by ERRE.DI are essentially two:
1) Mechanical Flexible Hose (TFI - MEC)
2) Hydraulic Flexible Hose (TFI - DR).
They have similar characteristics regarding pressure, temperature, materials, and flexibility; The substantial difference concerns the
dimensions.
These are extremely flexible metal tubes, formed from parallel waves with a narrow pitch obtained mechanically with longitudinal welding, built in compliance with EN ISO 10380 standards. Their flexibility allows them to adapt to various configurations and mechanical movements without compromising structural integrity.
Thanks to their high reliability, durability, resistance to static/pulsating pressure, lack of permeability, and excellent vibration absorption, they are widely used in sectors such as the automotive, aerospace, chemical-pharmaceutical, and many other industrial applications.

Stainless steel hose must be installed correctly to ensure satisfactory service and a long life. Sharp bends near the end connections, crushing and twisting during assembly, and excessive fatigue are the main causes of premature assembly failure.

HELPFUL TIPS
The physical properties and performance of hoses change over time. Their service life can be significantly reduced due to numerous external factors, so it's a good idea to take some precautions:
1. Rotate stock frequently and check the hose's external condition before use
2. In the case of coils, store them horizontally to prevent damage
3. When positioning the material, it is important to ensure there is no deformation, stretching, stress, or compression.
4. It is good practice to check the internal cleanliness; closing the ends of the hose with caps as soon as possible is recommended to prevent dirt from settling inside the hose.
5. When using the hose in hazardous areas, the user must periodically check for deposits, wear, and proper operation, depending on the conditions of use and the substances used.
