Using this joint allows torsion and rotation of the hose to be compensated without the risk of damaging it. They are not suitable for fast, continuous rotation, but only for angular movements between parts. As with the in-line swivel joint, since sealing is ensured by O-rings, rotation must not exceed 5–10 rpm to avoid damaging the seal.
